Meditation
Meditation can be a vital tool when creating a life of real peace and harmony no matter where your are or what is happening around you. We can reach this place within ourselves by honing mastery over the mind, compassionately guiding the mind away from our reactionary states into a state of observation. The main roots of suffering are attachments (clinging, craving) and aversions (rejection, dislike). Once we take the seat of the observer, we then gain a much broader perspective beyond emotion, gain personal wisdom, and most of all, a state of peace. How will this extend into your waking life? You will notice that your reaction time begins to shorten, the intensity of the reaction begins to diminish, and then lastly you will begin to realize that there are no longer any intense emotional reactions (except for the good ones 💙). Your window of tolerance increases to infinity. Harmony within.
Within the meditation mentoring service I offer, I will create personalized guided meditations and/or guided relaxations to suit your needs whether it may be to find peace in a stressful moment or mastery over the mind. Sessions are 1 hour in length. Practice, theory, and questions are always available during sessions. Some sessions may include Pranayama techniques to help calm the nervous system thus preparing your body for either of these practices (relaxation/meditation).
